This page describes what the site actually does, not what it hopes to do. Last updated 30 October 2026.
Your files
Your video is never uploaded. It is read from your disk by your browser, decoded, re-encoded and written back as a download — all inside the tab. There is no server in that path, so there is nothing that could store, copy or share your file. Close the tab and the work is gone.
What is collected
The site itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics script. There is no account system, so there is no profile of you to build. Unlike the rest of this page, that is not a promise about intent: the page loads four local files and makes no further network request after that.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the request that delivers this page — IP address, browser user agent, the file requested — in order to serve it and to block abuse. That is standard web server logging, and it is the only place an IP address appears in this setup.
Advertising and third-party cookies
This site is free and may carry third-party advertising in the future. If advertising is added it will be labelled, and this page will be updated before the first ad is served. Advertising is how a page like this pays for itself, so it is worth being specific about what that means:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- Users may opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
- How Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Its advertising rules: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
- Where the law requires consent — the EEA, the UK, Switzerland — advertising cookies are only set after you agree through the consent prompt, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time.
No advertising code runs on this page today. If that changes, this section is the contract for how it will behave.
Consent
Advertising and analytics storage is off by default. Nothing that needs consent is loaded before you give it. Where a prompt is shown, refusing is exactly as easy as accepting, and the choice is stored in your browser rather than on a server.
If you write to [email protected], your message and address are kept only to answer you. There is no newsletter and no list to be added to.
